Re: Our Continuing Customer Support during Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Situation

At Sodick, we understand that this Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) is impacting our valued customers and our communities and all of us at Sodick are fully committed to do everything we can do to support our customers during this challenging moment.

Our customers and stakeholders are using Sodick machinery to produce the vital devices and parts that are used in various industries such as medical products as well as the critical services conducted by the U.S. government agencies and contractors.

Without the production and distribution of these products, we could potentially risk the widespread shortages of such essential products. Such production by our customers is especially critical right now to meet the sudden increase in demands for such products and our customers are requesting our continuing service without any disruption during this moment.

Because the continued operation of our facility, and the operation of our supply chain related to the aforementioned products are critical to our region’s direct response to the pandemic, we have determined that our operations constitute an “Essential Business” and Sodick continues our business operation.

Sodick continues to provide all of our normal services, including machine installations, repairs, phone supports, consumable and spare parts distribution. We will also comply with all applicable government orders accordingly while we serve our customers.

All employees performing our operations, both at Sodick and at the customers’ facilities, have been instructed to comply with social distancing requirements, and we can assure you that we are executing complete and rigorous protocols in our business in order to minimize the risk of infection by COVID-19.
