Rigid linear motors
Unlike ball screw drives that wear down and lose accuracy over time, Sodick’s rigid linear motors use a non-contact drive mechanism, which means no mechanical degradation or backlash. Backed by a track record of over 65,000 units, linear motors enable machining quality without drift.

Part of every K-Series EDM, ceramics are approximately 50% lighter than cast iron, reducing the mass of moving parts, lowering motor load, and improving energy efficiency. LN Assist: intuitive operation for complex jobs
LN Assist gives operators a simplified graphics interface with automatic calculations and macro functions built in. Complex cutting layouts can be programmed and managed by operators of any skill level, and once setup is complete, the software positions cutting locations and coordinates settings automatically.
